I'm feeling deeply disturbed by the events in Charlottesville and finding it difficult to go about my life without a deep sense of sadness and anger. It scares me to think how many people feel superior to others based on uncontrollable factors like race.
Why is it considered 'radical' to believe in basic human rights for all people including access to healthcare, education, and a safe place to live without fear of being murdered by people who view their existence as dangerous?
